hey would it be cool if we drew a picture of our character as well as describing them? I am not super confident in my description abilities I haven't written seriously for a while

Unsociable but does force himself sometimes, mostly to convince secrets out of people. Quite quiet and sly. Possibly semi-sadistic, very cruel when he gets the power. Incredibly intelligent, especially in the sciences and history. Quick-thinking. Not incredibly strong.

Important-ish Info
- Will drink the blood of anything mostly humanoid to survive. Prefers human. Werewolf/creatures' blood is like a poison to him.
- Tries to avoid sunlight. It doesn't make him burn up into ashes but it does make him very hot and bothered, and eventually leads to him collapsing for a good few hours.
- Doesn't eat, but can drink liquids.
- Isn't effected by religious artifacts due to being a Christian before his conversion.
- Addicted to smoking, especially considering it won't damage his lungs now.

Hey, off topic-ish but still to do with characters so probably the most on topic I've even been on this whole forum but ANYWAY I'm thinking of changing my angel character to a harpy because she doesn't have any powers other than wings so I thought that was more fitting (also it sounds waaay less marysue-ish), but have her make other people believe she's actually an angel, because that's got a lot more positive connotations than harpy... is that an okay idea or does it suck?

holy run on sentance batman but I can't be bothered to go back and edit it so deal with it afro

EDIT also here is a rough picture i just did of her in case anyone cares, is her design alright?? (despite her being over a year old this is the first full body coloured drawing i've done of her |D)

Yeah, they are, although demons come a close second. While angels can be done well I decided that I didn't want to risk it.

I'm not saying any of these can't be played well, they all CAN, they just have a lot of people who play them wrong... usually just so they can play out some moronic power fantasy.

*ahem* I'm slipping into sue rant for the n+1th time... so lets just stick to angels. They CAN be used well, but 99% of people don't do so. They seem to forget angels are celestial beings and aren't just told "That's earth, go do whatever the hell you like.". If the're true angels then don't they have responsibilities? If the're on earth/in the mortal plane then shouldn't there be some reason? Not just to use their sueish powers for the lols.
As for 'fallen' angels... who the heck thinks a good idea to banish an angel to earth and not strip them of their powers? I'm sorry but no outcast is going to be allowed to just keep his angelic heritage. It would be like punishing a bully by moving him to a school where all the kids were much weaker then him.

Long story short, there are a lot of sues out there but that shouldn't be a reason to place a ban on any races. I'm not really going to object if people want to make elves and dragons... I'd just really rather they weren't just an excuse to say "my character r teh strongest."
I don't know why I'm bothering to say this though, what when the small number of people who are actually on this forum seem to already understand this.

Pretty lazy and laid-back. Does have a sharp and fierce temper when provoked (Mostly about his weight) and can be very violent, but that is when he's pretty riled up. Otherwise, is childish and rather simple-minded, unable to keep up with fast, intelligent conversations. Could be considered quite puppy-like. Rather dirty and of quite low-hygiene.

Other info
- Pretty bog-standard werewolf. Transforms during full moon and such.
- Loves eating raw meat...especially human. But he can't really get hold of that very often so he just goes with whatever he can get his hands on.
- He's also very muscular, but most of it's covered up by fat/I have no idea how one draws muscle.

The only think I'm kinda worried about is that harpies are supposed to be incredibly violent, it's one of thier defining traits... but she isn't. But idk.

And Wilf sounds like a pretty cool dude! :3 I like his beard it really suits him. u.u
