modern day mythological/supernatural rp???

so yeah there's an idea for the main RP being a mythological/supernatural RP but set in the mordern day??
Thoughts/ideas/opinions??
If you want ideas for a character, march on over to wikipedia and look at all the awesome mythological creatures they have there because some are really damn awesome u_u

And uhh, not really.
Except I'm caught up between a place where supernatural beings are the norm, or somewhere where they have to try and blend in with the public...

Do we have any idea yet of what kind of town/city/place ect. this is taking place?
If not can I please request that there be a small lake nearby or something (like, maybe in a park if the surrounding area is too industrialised or whatever) because I might rp my rusalka and they live in lakes. |D

I was thinking an urban area, but with foresty areas and stuff because a lot of mythological creatures live in forests and stuff, so I guess a lake could be there too?? :3

I will add my characters to it as soon as I can be bothered to write out bios for them.
Which is to say in a very very long time.
Also I need to choose which ones I want to rp because I don't want to choose too many to avoid being overwelmed, but I don't want to choose too few because my posts will be bloody short(er than they already will be).
